ClubMark is a nationwide quality accreditation based on an critical assessment of a junior club by Sport England. Areas assessed include:
- The playing programme
- Duty of care, safeguarding and protection of young people
- Involvement in the Community
- Club Management
Ribble Valley Juniors was one of the first cycling clubs in the North West to achieve accreditation in 2008 and has recently been reassessed and reaccredited until 2016.
For Ribble Valley Juniors club members this assessment was undertaken by British Cycling and endorsed by Sport England.
The areas assessed are sub-divided into 17 criteria as detailed in the ClubMark document which is held at our base at Walton Le Dale Community Primary school.
Ribble Valley Junior club aims to continue principles and high quality standards detailed in the document to ensure a safe and high quality environment for young members. Club members are invited to inspect the document.
