The ink is scarcely dry on the last newsletter but several new items and more information has appeared already:
Sunday 29th March RVRCC + RVJ Joint road Ride.
Meet at Preston’s College PR2 8UR at 9am for a 45 Mile (with café stop) intermediate level ride on minor country roads North of Preston. All welcome.U18s need parental consent. U16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please support this initial joint venture with RVRCC if you can. It is in response to RVJ members requests for more road riding.
Good Friday 3rd April.
We are supporting Hesketh Bank Cricket Club 50Mile road ride again. Largely flat on quiet roads and much enjoyed last year. Andy Purcell has guaranteed the weather will be fine. £15 to enter inc Pie and Peas. Start at Hesketh Bank Cricket Club.PR4 6SE
4th April Chorley Grand Prix.
Elite Racing. Reminder no club ride. We plan a Gazebo on the start finish straight. Details are still emerging of sprint racing for Chorley School pupils and British Cycling Go Ride involvement.

The min age is 9. To book a bike, if needed, arrange with Rob Mace in the BC office by the Friday prior.
For returning riders please book in the same group as last time unless instructed otherwise by the coach for your group. Bring plenty of drinks and healthy snack. Bring track mitts or gloves.

We are advised by BC that they will deal with individuals as their DBS/CRB checks expire. There will be a form to submit but Andy Purcell, newly appointed Welfare Officer, will be able to verify such forms-not necessarily a BC official as previously.
